Our SOC 2 (Service Organization Control Type 2) certification, issued by the AICPA, verifies our adherence to customer data management and confidentiality. As stewards of sensitive information from thousands of learner, educator, and employer partners, we hold firm fundamentals of data privacy, processing integrity, data availability, and data privacy. SOC 2 is globally recognized and respected as a compliance framework that puts customer needs above all.

Though Riipen was founded in Vancouver, BC, we have global reach with our partnerships and feel strongly about upholding standards of data privacy and confidentiality wherever possible. Our GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) certification demonstrates our compliance with the European Union’s 2016 GDPR, highlighting our strong commitment to keeping the data of our European partners safe and in individuals’ personal control.
