We had the opportunity to dive deeper into Matt's experience on the Riipen platform, unlocking how Riipen's projects helped not only his business but the students as well.  

What was your completed experience on the Riipen platform?

“My Riipen experience has been incredibly valuable, even as I'm still learning to balance these projects with my other responsibilities. The student projects have significantly boosted my company's engagement and followers, and their research and recommendations have been excellent. I've been impressed by how genuinely interested the students are when asking questions, and I'm even in talks to collaborate with one of them now, which is an exciting development.” 

What kind of projects did you publish on the Riipen platform?

“The projects I've published on the Riipen platform have primarily revolved around social media and marketing strategies for my cleaning business. These projects have focused on areas like content creation, audience engagement, and developing actionable marketing recommendations to help expand our reach.”

Can you share how this project helped your team? 

"The Riipen projects have definitely had a positive impact on my business, helping us achieve some key milestones, though there's always more to accomplish. Specifically, the social media and marketing-focused projects were instrumental in boosting our company's engagement and followers on platforms like Facebook, which was a significant goal. The research and recommendations on pricing strategies also proved incredibly valuable and directly contributed to our understanding of the market."

Do you think other organizations can benefit from the Riipen experience?

“I would absolutely encourage other organizations to leverage the Riipen experience. A primary benefit is gaining a fresh perspective on their business challenges; students often bring innovative ideas and current academic insights that seasoned professionals might overlook.

I'm currently in talks to collaborate with one of the students on a future project.”

As someone with multiple degrees and certifications in business, finance, accounting, and e-commerce, I can confidently say that a 30-minute to one-hour conversation with a business owner often yields more invaluable insights than an entire degree program.
