What sort of data can I import?
Riipen provide 3 different types of data import, importing learners, importing companies, or importing teams and learners. Each of these serves a different purpose and can be used independently. For example, you can choose to import all learners from your academic institution to your portal by importing learners at your portal level. You can also choose to import a large number of companies into your private portal by importing companies.
What format does the data need to be in?
Riipen provides you with a template CSV file which is used to upload your data to Riipen. Simply export your data from any data source and then ensure the correct CSV headers are in place in the needed columns and then upload. It's as easy as that.
Can I upload additional metadata data into Riipen?
Yes! A good example is uploading learners into your portal. If you would like, you can also upload learner metadata such as demographic information. This can often be helpful come reporting time when you would like to report on Riipen outcomes based on say nationality of learners, age, or school major.
