Feedback

for students

Providing feedback is a critical step in the process. Reflect on your project and provide contructive criticism for your company.

What am I giving feedback for?

At the end of your In-Class Project you are going to be asked to provide feedback for the company you worked with. This feedback is solely based around your interactions with them throughout the project.

Did you have a great experience working with them? Let them know! Were there aspects of the project you thought were prohibitive to your learning? Tell them so they can improve in the future.

Remember, your feedback will determine how the company behaves in future projects with other students, so make sure you give praise where it is due, and give advise on how they could improve where needed.

Constructive criticism

Riipen will ask you several yes or no questions as well as give you the opportunity to provide a five star rating for the company and what it was like to work with them. But where you really have a chance to make an impact is in your written feedback.

In your written feedback, make sure to highlight both the positive and the negative (if any) experiences you had when working with the company. Were they quick to respond to your questions? Did they have a clear and well defined project for you? How did working with them help you grow?

Remember, any feedback you give will be publicly available on Riipen with your name attached as the author. With that in mind, remember to be  courteous even if you need to provide negative feedback. Let's learn together and provide an even better experience next time!
